Rabbi Appel is available to teach adult education classes and private tutoring in a variety of topics and settings. Topics include Jewish meditation; prayer leading; mystical and Chassidic spirituality; siddur; readings in Jewish feminism; theology; Judaism, food, and the environment; new approaches to the mikveh; Jewish pregnancy and childbirth; conversion; and more.
She is also a public speaker on topics including young adult outreach and engagement, antisemitism, design thinking toward more robust Jewish communities, relationship-based community-building, equity and inclusion in Jewish settings, and 21st century Jewish community.
